Chipper is a male, tri-colored (parti) Cocker Spaniel. He was born on April 17, 2005. He developed a cough within a few days after she purchased him from a pet store. He had double pneumonia as only a 12-week-old puppy. Rather than return him to the store, which she thought was a death sentence, she chose to nurse him back to health. This caused her to miss our last full family reunion at my house.
Chipper made a full recovery, but possibly because of this illness, he is not very bright, even for a cocker. But he makes me laugh. He was Mom’s dog until August 2013 when she suddenly passed away. He lost eight pounds after moving in with me and he still loves to eat. He recently completed the Canine Good Citizen program.
