Does your dog love snow? Or hate it? Up in northeastern Illinois, we received about a foot of snow last night, after two months of not having any. My cockers hate it, and Buffy wouldn’t go out this morning until I shoveled. She tends to pee right outside the door unless I shovel a path in the yard.

Cassie, my springer, loved snow. She often took snow baths, throwing herself on hard crusted snow (ouch)!
But she didn’t like it when it was too deep. Where to poop? We had a blizzard a few years back and he waited hours for us to shovel the driveway and part of the street before she would do her business.

Cute pictures! I have two dogs. My older boy doesn’t mind the snow, even plays in it sometimes, but hates walking outside when it’s icy. My younger dog LOVES the snow.
I’ve noticed that younger dogs tend to like the snow a lot more. Thanks for the compliment on my photos!
We didn’t get any snow this past winter! We have many photos of Humphrey playing snow bear. Maybe we’ll see some snow next year!
Fortunately for our dogs, we hardly ever get snow. In fact, I don’t believe that I have ever seen a snow shovel in person. LOL! Stay warm ♥
I love the snow and cross country skiing – especially with my dogs. It can be so pretty. But I don’t like ice. I think I’ve broken my tailbone a few times slipping on the ice!
My dogs love the snow! They immediately start to play. But we’ve had a few spring-like days teasing us here in NJ and I think Gonzo was underwhelmed by this last one. He’s ready for baby rabbits and chewing on spring onions.
Yeah, the warm days have been nice. My dogs seemed to say, “What is this? I thought we were through with snow!”
